-----welcome to hollow creek, this is absolutely your first, first stop. here the important information like rules, member group descriptions and plot will go. anything in here must be read. come and check this stuff out before you do anything, it's the most important.

-----important notices like activity checks, possible site-wide plots etc. will all be posted here, in order to keep you guys informed of the changes on site. it is important to check this frequently in case you've missed when an announcement was first posted.

-----this board is specifically for jamie, liz and & danielle to come and talk crap toss ideas around. this is where we will further discuss suggestions, site-wide events and changes that need to be made. don't try getting in here, not gonna happen.

-----now that you've read the rules and registered you need to fully complete the application in order to join in the fun. you'll find the template in here. if you have finished your application you will post it in the pending board and one of the admins will evaluate it. this needs to be done before you can post anywhere. if your app is not there we won't look at it, so don't leave it in the unfinished board. try not to bug the admins about accepting you, it should not take longer then a day and we have lives too.

-----if your application has been moved here; congrats! yay! confetti and glitter and all kinds of good stuff in your honour! threads will be left unlock so you can make changes periodically, however if you want to do a complete character overhaul you should run it by the admin and you may asked to do another application(this will be automatically accepted don't worry about waiting to rp or anything as this redone character). as soon as you see your application there try to post claims before anything else so we don't have troubles with play-bys etc.

-----in order to avoid confusion and drama about open and taken faces we ask that you post here as soon as you've seen that you've been accepted it makes it easier for every one, especially the admin.

-----once you've been accepted you need to get the ball rolling and start plotting so you're pretty little character can have all sorts of fun little drama with their besties and lovers. this is a great place to plot with the people who aren't on the same show as your face claim or have a billion pictures together. start creating the dramas, lovies.

-----if you have a plot in mind and you need someone else so you can flesh it out come here and post an ad with your plot and maybe a face for it. this board guest friendly.

-----sometimes we lack the muse to churn out a really lenghty post or there is an idea you just want to get out there real quick, bring it here without worrying about posting above the word count.

-----who doesn't have a cell phone these days? seriously, eve your grandparents get nifty phones made just for them. whether your texting through your english course or an adult playing tetris through your boring business meeting, you have to have one, no question about it.

-----be it aim, msn live or myspace everyone has a screen name nowadays. it's one of the easiest and quickest ways to stay in touch, make plans or start some drama. seeing as you can even im from your phone there is no problem of signing on and having no one to talk to, if it happens it's probably because no one likes you, which kind of sucks.

-----twitter is fast becoming one of the most popular social networking sites around, gathering followers that are almost outnumbering myspace and facebook. come here to see what your friends or favourite celebrities are doing every minute of the day. twitpic the awesome sushi you are about to tuck into or complain about the ridiculous traffic you are stuck in.

Kiss & Tell started as one of those stupid pass-alongs shoved in lockers and under dorm doors until they circulated throughout the academy. Now the internet has made the circulation of our not so graceful moments even easier.

-----hollow creek academy was built in the early 1920's s a joint venture by the dashwood and northranger families. the academy has produced some of the brightest stars in all field of study from the arts to science and medicine. the school has become known for it's rigorous curriculum and extreme selectivity. it is mostly know for it's privileged student body and has only recently begun to accept students through an established scholarship program through the late headmaster chapman, it has been carried on by headmaster dashwood and grudgingly supported by headmaster northranger. the scholarship program has begun to polish up the academy's growing reputation as a babysitter for the progeny of the countries richest and most powerful.

-----huntington-wesley was founded soon after the academy supported heavily by the northranger family but funded primarily by the huntington-wesley family. the university followed the same form as the rigorous academy, most students matriculate from the academy into the university. it holds the same fine reputation, ranking consistently in the top 5 private universities in the united states. it admits students from all of the country and has several exchange programs as well as some of the most up to date equipment and facilities for any area of study. despite it's large size students have plenty of opportunity for one on one with professors and are often helped by their professors when it comes time for the students to enter the workforce.

-----be it a seaside mansion or a tiny apartment, we all need a place to lay our head and call home. this is where you're throwing your parties after you've been kicked out of the tomorrow, or having a movie night with the besties.

-----hollow creek has a surprising selection of luxury boutiques and design houses as well as smaller family owned and operated consignment shops, all the shops in town plus the local malls are sure to suit anyone's style from punk to hippy to preppy. it's great for those vintage lovers or label whores, spend the day with your friends drinking starbucks and roaming the multitude of shops. don't forget your umbrella.

-----fish gotta swim, people gotta eat. the bu won't let you down no matter what your craving. from high-end pricey cafes to small mom and pop restaurants and of course your staple fast food. head down by the beach for the greatest sea food in the world or grab a starbucks to slurp while you shop with your friends.

-----of course most of us aren't really the right age to get into most of the bars and clubs that never seems to stop any of these crazy kids, fake id or not they find a way. there are plenty of clubs to choose from whether you are looking to dance the night away with your girls, jam to a local band or just go out for a drink before your movie.

-----hollow creeks very own central park, silver sea park covers about 500 acres, with a duck pond, a play ground and multiple trails for joggers, power walkers and runners. it weaves in and out of the hoh so you are likely to see plenty of tiny critters if you are out early enough.

-----no one is exactly sure why they called it silver sea, you know because it is a river but the historical society says that in some quirky way it fits, and no one really cares to change it. a finger of the hoh rainforest kind of cuts into the edge of the town and it brought the river with it, when it's a really heavy rainy season some parts of the town are known to flood. The river is pretty popular with the old people who like to fish, and the young kids who enjoy hanging out in the forest and checking out the water.

-----while the weather here isn't always exactly conducive to surfing and tanning, people still flock to the rocky beaches to skip rocks and take pictures of the sea stacks and rocky coast. the icy water doesn't deter avid surfers or the swimmers, depending on the weather you might even see kids diving in from the shear cliffs that line the coast. it's a great spot for tidepooling and all the driftwood gives plenty of fuel for bonfires anytime of the year.

-----everyone needs to get away every once in awhile, come to the airport to catch a plane to anywhere you need or want to go, rome, new york, africa.

-----somewhere unlisted that you want to thread at? hospital? park? golf course or police station? pm an admin to have the board made or just come here and thread it out.

-----this is the put of character where you can chat about everything buzzing around in your pretty little heads, books or movies, music it doesn't matter.you can come here to play in and out of character site games as well as requesting all those snazzy graphics for your characters.

-----the games board is great way to help past the time between posts, or even for procrastination from homework or chores, or helping to pass the time while your muse decides whether or not it feels like working with you today. here will be a multitude of games, varying from in character or out of character.

-----school getting hectic? grounded? going on a vacation? or leaving the site completely? come here and let everyone know what's going down.

-----this is the only place you are allowed to post your advertisements, not in the c-box or in a chatter board thread, only here. there are three boards for people linking back, advertising for the first time or members pimping out one of their sites. this board is guest friendly and open only to proboards sites, because IF advertisers forgets to change their codes and it's ugly and were too lazy to reformat it for them.

-----we may not be in florida, but when threads get old and they are on their way out even they need a place to rest. once a thread is finished or dead pm an admin and have it moved here. if an admin has moved your thread without being asked to do so and you were not completed with it do not hesitate to pm any one of the admins and ask them to move it back for you.
